anatomy of a monster: closure by =endless-one:iconendless-one:

Knock, knock, guess who?

Hope you didn't forget me. Cause as sure as hell I didn't. In fact, all I've been thinking about these last few months was what to do with you. And now I know. You see, all I  wanted to do first was to pull the plug for what you did to mum. Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth. But then I thought, why end your torment now? Why not letting you realize you're just the shadow of who you once were but not being able to do anything about it?.And besides, it's not what mum would have wanted me to do, it's not how she would have wanted you to end.
So here's what I'm gonna do: I'll drive you around the town in in your wheelchair, enjoying the beautiful weather, the chirping, the sun. I'll enjoy the fact, that, even though alive, you can't enjoy any of these things. Not after that stroke got you paralyzed , forever bound to a hospital bed. I'll never have to hear one of your damn lies anymore. God knows you said your fair deal of them, didn't you, dad?

Most of them, you told them to yourself, but those were the most destructive ones. Above all, the one where you pretend you can handle drugs. That you could try morphine and get away from it again. Sister Morphine proved to be a real bitch though, didn't she, old man? Don't worry though, your beloved son will take care of you. He'll take care of you real good. And I can't wait to see the faces of all the good people in my town. Cause in all fairness, you aren't the only one to know something about destructive lies.

You know who I mean the policeman who told me it was «just an accident». The friend who ignored the screams and shouts late at night. All those who ignored the scarves, the shades, the smiles. I mean, how could they know, didn't she keep on repeating 'everything's allright?
Let them remember all that, let them try to sleep knowing what they did. They had it coming long ago. And I'll make sure I won't let mum's memory fade away, I won't let her become 'just another accident'... Cause even though it's too late for her to do anything, who knows, for someone else it might not.

Don't worry, dad. You'll get what you deserve. Your beloved son is here to make sure of that. After all, it's not like I would have had any other reason to stay behind than making sure you did.  I'll drive you around the city for what you're worth, even though god knows it's not much. And when finally comes the time of your last breath, sending you to a place where hopefully mum isn't, I'll give you the nicest burial a son cold give to a 'pillar of the town' and when I put the last shovel of dirt on your corpse I'll spit on your grave and leave this ugly town for good.

Wow.
Y'know, each time I draw myself into your writing mate, I'm amazed.

Couple of grammar fixes and a typo, regardless though, I'm amazed.
